CASE IH EXPANDS B100 BIODIESEL USE IN FARM EQUIPMENT

RACINE, Wis. - Case IH has extended its recommendations on use of biofuels to include B100 - or pure biodiesel - on even more of its farm equipment models.

Farmers now can use B100 on nearly all Case IH medium- to high-horsepower tractors, combines, windrowers, and most self-propelled sprayers and cotton pickers — so long as proper protocols are followed for engine operation and maintenance. more

ST. LOUIS, MO (December 4, 2007) - Monsanto Company (NYSE: MON) today announced that it has joined the Chicago Climate Exchange® (CCX), North America’s only voluntary, legally-binding greenhouse gas emissions reduction, registry and trading program.

As part of its agreement, the company will, by 2010, reduce its own direct carbon emissions from major U.S. operations by 6 percent below its 2000 levels or purchase carbon emission offsets as specified in the CCX contract. more
